This Dog Beer Brings a Whole New Meaning to Cracking Open a Cold One With the Boys

August 26th is one of the best days of the year, simply because it’s National Dog Day. I didn’t even know that was a thing, but once I found out, it became my favorite holiday.

Anyway, this year for the occasion, Busch Beer launched a tasty new brewski called the Busch Dog Brew so that your furry best friend can crack open a cold one right alongside you. Awww.

The dog beer is brewed using only a few simply ingredients: Water, malted barley, brewer’s yeast, and hops. Just kidding. Those are the ingredients in normal human beer.

This non-alcoholic doggy beer is made with bone-in pork butt, whole corn, celery, basil, mint, turmeric, ginger, and water. So, it’s actually a delicious and nutritious bone broth that your pooch is pawsitively going to love.

“After a long day there’s nothing quite like having a Busch with a friend, and with so many new pet owners across America this year, we wanted to create a brew to give our fans a chance to share a Busch brew with their ‘best friend,'” says Daniel Blake, Anheuser-Busch’s VP of value brands.

But get this — the first batch of Busch Dog Brew promptly sold out just 24 hours after it hit the market…but don’t worry, there’s more on the way. You can get on the waitlist and be the first to get your paws on the next batch of delicious dog beer.
