I am so sorry. That’s all I kept saying to him, but it’s not enough. He needs action. This is a Sumatran elephant, and his species is critically endangered, primarily due to rainforest destruction to make room for more PALM OIL plantations. Go into your local supermarket, palm oil will be in over half of the products on the shelves. Now, imagine the large-scale destruction of rainforests to accommodate that demand. Finally, understand the amount of homes destroyed for animals/indigenous people, AND all the carbon pollution released into the air from cutting down those rainforests (the major driver of human induced climate change). PLUS this shit is super bad for you. ~ Be conscious in which products you purchase, do it for the rhinos, orangutans, elephants, tigers, our planet, and your health. If that isn’t reason enough, then I don’t know what is. SWIPE ➡️ for a little guidance on making better choices🏅. It’s time to get our heads out of our asses.
