Bonhams art and automobile auction house and Harley-Davidson are selling a totally custom LiveWire to fight the global pandemic.

“As a longtime partner of the United Way, and inspired by their continued resilience in this crisis, Harley-Davidson is honored to have a part to play in the relief effort and to inspire our community about the open road ahead,” said Jon Bekefy, general manager of brand marketing at Harley-Davidson Motor Company. All proceeds from the auction, excluding taxes and fees, will go to the United Way Worldwide’s COVID-19 Community Response and Recovery Fund.

Weighing in with 105 horsepower and 86 pound-feet of max torque produced by a magnet synchronous motor, as well as a 98 miles of minimum range, the Detroit motorcycle brand’s first all-electric hog made waves when it debuted in 2019. This one-off version, no. 500 of 500 of the inaugural “First Strike” series, features an exclusive paint scheme and unique graphics package, a carbon fiber-trimmed speed screen, tail section and tank trim, and autographs from members of the Davidson family.

The winning bidder and one guest will also take part in an exclusive delivery and behind-the-scenes Harley-Davidson tour. This private, hosted experience will include an archival look at the Harley-Davidson Museum.
The auction is live online through Tuesday, May 26 at 4:00 p.m. EST. The highest bid was listed at $48,000 at the time of publication.
