You have been invited to our solo podcast format “No Shades Of Graye – 10 questions with…!” Our partners and long time Maxim Magazine authors Zeynep Yenisey and Brandon Friederich have crafted a list of 30 questions for a new podcast and interview format.
From the list below, please feel free to pick any 10 questions that you want to answer and record it with your own audio device or smartphone. Our talented audio guy will optimize the audio file to get the best possible quality. Once you’ve recorded your answers, please send the audio file(s) to [email protected] with the subject “No Shades Of Graye.”
Pro Tip for recording crystal clear sound: Try holding the phone/microphone to the side of your mouth (not in front) to avoid popping sounds. These are really hard to eliminate in post-production. Also, for better audio quality, consider sitting next to or in front of an open closet or a bookshelf, which will act as a makeshift sound booth to eliminate any echoing (industry secret!).
You don’t have to record everything in one go. You could do a couple of questions now, and some questions later. Whenever you have time is perfect for us. We will edit everything together later.
When recording, please begin with a brief and friendly introduction of yourself. For example, something like “Hi, welcome to No Shades Of Graye! This is 10 questions with [YOUR NAME],” followed by a little bit about who you are and what you do. Also, please repeat every question before answering. Since this is a solo podcast, you are the host and the guest!
And lastly, one of the most important things we ask of you is to be as descriptive as possible. Your devoted fans want to hear everything you have to say, and they want to know all of the juicy details.
