The biggest story in a totally unproductive vice presidential debate was the landing of a fly on incumbent Mike Pence for two solide minutes. In fact, the meme-able moment that triggered countless Twitter parody accounts of now-famous common house pest has also spawned a “Debate Fly Wig” Halloween costume on 3Wishes.com.
The timely disguise follows other topical looks featured in Jacob Graye’s recent much sexier costume roundup, including a bottle of hand sanitizer, a tube dress shaped like a mail-in ballot, a foxy postal worker, “I Voted” pasties and a dress littered with “fake news.”
“MAKE YOUR HEAD GREAT AGAIN! Look fly and steal the spotlight at your next party with this Debate Fly Wig, perfect for when being a fly on the wall just won’t do!” reads the product description. The New York Post notes that a “deluxe, high quality silver white wig” with a fly and an American flag lapel pin are available to pre-order in a bundle for the relatively steep price of $49.99. The first shipments expected to head out on October 22.
